Jason McCartney, of the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team, rides a solo breakaway Stage 5 of the Ford Tour de Georgia. His teammate Tom Danielson won the 94.5-mile (152.1-km) stage from Blairsville to the top of Brasstown Bald, the highest point in the state. McCartney finished 18th.
