Todd Lewer, of Evans, Ga., tries unsuccessfully to use one of three kiosks at Stevens Creek Church to make a donation. Pastor Marty Baker installed the kiosks in 2005 to enable people who carry little cash to donate with credit cards or check cards. So far, Baker said, up to 25 percent of donations to the church come through the kiosks and he expects about $200,000 from them this year.
